Addiction Outreach Clinic, Suboxone Clinic in Youngstown, Ohio

Addiction Outreach Clinic is a Suboxone Clinic that specializes in treating opioid addiction. Opioid addiction includes addiction to any and all opioids including street drugs such as heroin or fentanyl, and prescription pain pills such as oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine, morphine, methadone, and many others. At AOC our Suboxone doctors and nurses take genuine care of patients, putting the patients needs first – providing a supporting atmosphere that brings recovery into reach.

What is a Suboxone Clinic?

A Suboxone clinic is simply an addiction rehab clinic that uses Suboxone as a key element of treatment. Because Suboxone is widely prescribed as a medication used in addiction treatment these clinics have become known as Suboxone clinics.

Suboxone

Suboxone is a highly effective and widely used medication to assist in the treatment of opioid addiction. Suboxone is most effective when used as part of an MAT program, which you will learn more about in the following section.

Suboxone is a combination of two drugs, buprenorphine and naloxone. This combination allows Suboxone to be extremely effective because it not only minimizes withdrawal symptoms but also curbs the addiction cravings.

Medication-Assisted Treatment, known as MAT

Medication-assisted treatment is exactly how it sounds, it is addiction counseling treatment that is accompanied by medication, in our case Suboxone. Addiction is largely a psychological issue. Of course addiction has physical symptoms of withdrawal and cravings to use, but once these are overcome relapse must be prevented. The real issue stems from the change of habit, and preventing oneself from giving in to the urge to relapse.

MAT is monthly counseling in conjunction with Suboxone. Together this treatment offers a very effective plan towards long-term recovery for patients and is sustainable in the long run allowing patients to manage recovery, while maintaining their life and keeping their job, relationships, hobbies, and other responsibilities.

Payment & Insurance

Addiction Outreach Clinic offers a self-pay model with affordable monthly payments. We do not accept insurance for clinical care which enables us to provide a more convenient care model. There are significant obstacles and inconveniences required with  insurance-based addiction treatment which may not be the most effective model for treating opioid addiction for everyone.

Because we do not accept insurance, we are not tied to the requirements of insurance reimbursements. Our program only requires 1 office visit every 4 weeks, unlike a traditional insurance-based program that may require up to 4 visits per week. This much time spent in the office is often an unsustainable treatment plan because it becomes hard to maintain your life when you’re in the clinic 4 days a week. Our program puts the best interest of the patients at heart – requiring only 1 visit every 4 weeks and allowing you to keep your job and family obligations, while learning how to manage long-term recovery in your day-to-day life.
